Remembrance Day and Cenotaph Rededication Ceremony Join us on Saturday, Nov 2nd as we dedicate our Amazing new Cenotaph located at the Miracle Park ( formally known as Riverside arena ) during the RIVERSIDE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH 255 Remembrance Day Service at 1:00 pm. It would be marvelous to see all of our Veterans, members, customers and the Riverside community come out to show their support for this very special day. Afterward, everyone is invited back to the branch for free hotdogs (while supplies last).

Annual 100 Inning Game

Annual 100 Inning Game This year, the FARROW RIVERSIDE MIRACLE PARK is the chosen charity for the 100 Inning Game. More than $1.4 million has already been raised to turn the former Riverside Arena site into a dynamic community space with a Miracle Diamond, inclusive and accessible playground, prominently relocated Cenotaph, walking path and public gathering space.

Ontario Trillium Partners with Farrow Riverside Miracle Park Thank you to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for providing a $150,000 grant to the Farrow Riverside Miracle Park project. The contribution is appreciated and will assist with the completion of the park.

Look What’s Happening at the Miracle Park!

Look What’s Happening at the Miracle Park! Here’s a step-by-step update of where we’re at with the new Riverside Miracle Park Playground, which is scheduled to open this summer. Playground supplier has completed install of all items and removed their equipment from the site. Four park benches will be installed once the cement base is poured. NEOS from the city to be picked up and installed once the pad is poured. Coco Concrete has completed the remaining curbing around the playground. Shea Brothers has completed the drainage work onsite and received inspection approval from the city to backfill. The playground grading is being finalized so that it is ready for the rubber base, pending reliable weather. The landscape architect has finalized the finished design, which was submitted to the city for final approval. The Cenotaph and area design has been reworked and submitted to the city for final approval. Granite and stone vendors have been contacted to evaluate materials and costs for the Cenotaph. 20 park benches and foul-ball…
